Getting started

How do I begin?

Select Begin campaign, choose one of the four blocs, then use the Decisions screen to commit up to three cabinet actions before resolving the next six months.

Can I replay the tutorial?

Yes. Choose Help → Replay Guided Tour. The permanent Field Manual is also available from the Help menu.

Saves and settings

Where are my saves?

The game autosaves after each resolved turn. Choose File → Manage Saves… to use three additional manual save slots.

How do I reduce animation?

Open Autonomous Civilization → Settings and enable Reduce motion. The app also respects the system Reduce Motion setting in macOS.

A saved campaign cannot be opened

The game places an unreadable save in quarantine rather than repeatedly trying to load it. Start a new campaign or load another slot. Keep the quarantined file if you plan to request support.

Connectivity and privacy

Does the game need an internet connection?

No. Autonomous Civilization is designed to work entirely offline.

Does the game collect data?

No. It has no accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, or cloud services. Read the privacy policy for the complete disclosure.

Report a problem

When requesting help, include:

• your macOS version
• your Mac model and processor
• the app version shown in Settings
• what you expected and what happened instead
• the campaign seed shown in the sidebar, if relevant
